Winter Camp Information

Meet and Return

Meet Time: Friday 2/27 3PM Sharp
Meet Location: Highline Christian Church
Transportation: We'll all ride together in rented bus
Students are not allowed to "Self-Drive"
Return Time: Sunday 3/1 Approximately 4PM
You'll receive a text with updated arrival time in the morning.

Dress Code

No revealing tops, and excessive tight clothing. Tops should not reveal midriff and should fully cover the stomach area.
Shirts need to be worn at ALL times, except in the confines of your own cabin.
Leaders have FULL discretion when enforcing dress code. If you are asked to change, please change without complaint. If you failed to pack clothes that align with policy, you will be given boxy, unfashionable, baggy clothes to cover up.

Cell Phone and Media Policy

Both camp and the bus ride is a media-free zone.
This means no cell phones, tablets, speakers of any kind should be out.

If a device is seen by a leader, it will be confiscated and held by camp staff until we return to Highline on Sunday.

Cabin Assignments

Cabins are assigned intentionally. Generally, students will be grouped by age.

Switching cabins is prohibited. Don't do it. You'll quickly be moved back to your original assignment.

Nurse and Medication

We will have a nurse to distribute medication. Students are not allowed to hold their own medications without exception. Including over the counter medication.

Packing List

Medications will be collected by the nurse at Highline before we depart.

Clothing

  • 2 Pairs of comfortable winter outfits
  • Pajamas
  • Warm sweater
  • Rain-proof jacket
  • Warm clothes (generally it's cold...it's winter. It also rains)
  • Regular shoes for around camp
  • Outfit, and shoes that can get dirty, muddy, wet for games.

Bedding

  • Sleeping Bag
  • Pillow
  • Optional: twin size fitted sheet

Toiletries

  • Toothbrush, paste, shampoo, deodorant, etc.
  • Shower towel
  • Shower slides/flip-flops

Extra

  • Bible, Journal, Pen

Do not bring...

Vape, Alcohol, Marijuana, Tobacco, Nicotine
Any controlled substance is strictly prohibited. Parent/guardian will be required to pickup students found in possession.
Do not bring cash, valuables, food, drinks.
Camp provides all your food and drink needs

Knives and weapons of any kind are strictly prohibited
