HATS: Many ways God shows up...For all our heart's needs.

This series centers on not just learning new things about God, about the different roles he plays in our lives, but actually knowing a God who is near; What it looks like to be in a relationship with God as father, God as friend, God as creator, God as lawgiver and judge, and more.

The series theme passage is Psalm 63. We see a psalmist who doesn’t just know God from a distance, but whose up close and personal relationship shapes his entire being.

Each week we’ll focus on a different role that God plays in our lives. Roles that have a significant impact on our hearts if we’re engaging with God personally through these roles. We’ll shine lights from many different angles revealing the multifaceted beauty of a God whose heart, like David’s we get to be near.

Our hearts are designed for personal relationship with an up close God. If we settle for simply knowing God from a distance, faith will wither and fall away.
