Car Wash Details
What to Wear?
- Swimsuit under shorts/t-shirt, slides/sandals
- Sweatshirt in case it's cold
- Change of clothes (casual/nice) for serving breakfast
What Time?
- Students arrive at 7AM sharp
- Expect to be finished cleaning up by 2PM
Auction Details
Invite people to the auction!
- Auction is welcome to anyone, friends, family! It's up to us to fill the room. Here is a link to registration:
Auction Items:
- If your item is non-tangible, or a service and you have no physical item, you need to design a 1 page "coupon" complete with any graphics or photos, as well as a description and any important contact information for the purchaser.
- Bring all auction items/coupons on May 16th setup day
Dessert:
- Each student is required to supply 1 dessert that feeds 10 people. It should be attractive and something people want to spend good money on.
- I recommend asking someone you know who is a baker to make something delicious!
- If no one you know is a good baker, you can buy a nice desert from a bakery, grocery store, Costco.
- Bring Dessert to church on Sunday.
Dress Code:
- If possible, dress in the Miami Vice theme. White suits. Pastel colors. Sunglasses. Google it for inspiration
- If you have nothing that fits the theme, aim for semi-formal white or black attire. NO JEANS!
- Dresses/Skirts should be at least finger-tip length. No low-cut tops.
Weekend Timeline:
- Saturday 5/16 9AM - Setup Part 1. Bring Auction Items
- Sunday 5/17 2PM - Setup Part 2. Bring Dessert and change of clothes to formal auction attire.
If you are unable to be present fully for any of the above events, reach out directly to Thatcher, and plan to find a replacement for yourself.
